Aria Dress

A cascading gown in repurposed deadstock lace, with a ring at the midddle holding the halter neckline, tiered ruffles and a trailing hem.

Deadstock lace, the fabric of celebration across South-West Nigeria, is worked here in layered shades of green. A deep-V halter neck, held together by a ring at the centre, opens into cut-outs at the waist. Below the waist, tiers of lace ruffles build volume, rising to a high slit and sweeping into an uneven, trailing hem. Because the lace is deadstock, stock is limited and no two runs are exactly alike. Handcrafted in Nigeria by Kíléntár’s artisans.

OPACITY: The lace has an open, patterned weave and the waist has cut-outs. 

WEIGHT: The layered lace ruffles give the dress volume.

Yes. It’s made from deadstock lace, so stock is limited and won’t be restocked in the same colourway once sold.

Dry clean only. Store hanging in a dust bag without crushing the ruffles, and handle the lace gently to avoid snagging.
