Sustainability & Impact
Without compromising on style, sustainability is at the core of our ethos. During her travels across West Africa, Michelle Adepoju was struck by the mastery and passion of artisans, who had inherited their craftsmanship and served as custodians of tradition for generations. Kilentar was born from this desire to uphold and preserve traditional African practices and indigenous techniques, honouring the continent’s richness and diversity. We are guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and are committed to the advancement of the following:
- Goal 5: Gender Equality.
- Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.
- Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
